By using the Site or our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Who We Are
This Site and our Services are operated by MixedByCrates LLC, a California limited liability company located at 1675 Meadow Lark Lane, Tracy, CA 95376. For any privacy-related questions or requests, you can reach us at Robert@cratesaudio.com or +1 (628) 277-4468.
2. Information We Collect

When you fill out a contact form, book a strategy call, subscribe to our newsletter, request a quote, or hire us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, business or project name, billing details, and information about your project (such as audio files, podcast episodes, scripts, artwork, brand materials, and creative goals). When you communicate with us by email, phone, SMS, or the Site's chat widget, we collect the contents of those communications.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, links clicked, and timestamps. This data is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 7 below).
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from third-party platforms we use to operate our business, such as Squarespace (our website host), EngineEars (for music service bookings and reviews), Google (analytics, reviews, business profile), payment processors, scheduling tools, and email marketing platforms. 4. SMS and Chat Widget Consent
MixedByCrates LLC sends both customer support and promotional messages to users who interact with the chat widget on www.cratesaudio.com. Customer care messages may include responses to support requests, ticket updates, appointment coordination, and follow-up communications related to an existing inquiry. Promotional messages may include special offers, discounts, event promotions, and service announcements. Each message type requires separate, explicit consent collected through independent checkboxes in the chat widget. Marketing consent is not combined with transactional consent, and neither type of consent is shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time by replying STOP to a text message or by emailing us at Robert@cratesaudio.com. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

These providers only receive the information they need to perform services on our behalf and are required to protect it.
Professional advisors such as accountants, lawyers, and insurers, where reasonably necessary.
Legal and safety purposes, when we believe disclosure is required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MixedByCrates LLC, our clients, or others.
Business transfers, in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred to the successor entity.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.
6. Client Audio Files and Project Materials
Audio recordings, stems, scripts, artwork, and other project materials you provide to us are treated as confidential and used only to perform the Services you have engaged us for. We store these materials on cloud and local storage we control or that is provided by reputable service providers, and we retain them only as long as reasonably necessary to perform the Services and for a reasonable period thereafter for backup, revision, and reference purposes. You can request deletion of your project files at any time by emailing Robert@cratesaudio.com.

Some cookies are set by us, and others are set by third-party services such as Squarespace and Google Analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings or by using opt-out tools provided by individual analytics or advertising services. Disabling cookies may affect how the Site functions for you.
8. Your Privacy Rights
